Exciting Volunteer Opportunities – Join Our ELDER ABUSE ACTION PROJECT
The Canadians for a Civil Society (CCS) is inviting community members aged 60 and above to join volunteer teams to work on education and peer support around elder abuse prevention.
Who can participate?
Adults 60 years and older who are willing to share their time and skills
WHY participate?
- Help address issues of physical, emotional, sexual, or financial abuse
- Share your experiences and insights about what’s happening in the community
- Support education and services that can make a real difference
- Be part of the solution to end this hidden but serious problem
WhEN?
- Approximately 30 volunteer hours between October–January
- (Training will be provided)
